Think about your fire service career and the training you received coming up through the ranks. What gaps in knowledge did you discover and how did you overcome them? What gaps in knowledge still exist, where are you weakest? How do you plan to build a mastery of those skills that exist inside those gaps? Provide your response to identify at least one gap in your skillset that you struggled to master. In a paragraph describe how you overcame the gap, did the gap present a problem with further understanding of new concepts until you were able to master it? In a second paragraph describe how you would avoid leaving gaps in your students mastery of skills as a future instructor.
