This course examines the tools and techniques of rational decision-making in fire and emergency services agencies, including data collection, statistics, probability, decision analysis, utility modeling, resource allocation, and cost-benefit analysis.  This course meets or exceeds the requirements of NFPA 1021, “Standard for Fire Officer Professional Qualifications,” (2014 Edition), NFPA 1037, “Standard for Professional Qualifications for Fire Marshal,” (2016 Edition), and Rules 69A-39.0071 Procedures for Fire Code Administrator Certification, and 69A-37.065(2)(d), Florida Administrative Code.
